Object function
Object( [value] ) : Object
Creates a new empty object or converts the specified number, string, or Boolean value to an
object. This command is equivalent to creating an object using the Object constructor (see
"Constructor for the Object class").
Availability: ActionScript 1.0; Flash Lite 2.0
Parameters
value:Object [optional] - A number, string, or Boolean value.
Returns
Object - An object.
Example
In the following example, a new empty object is created, and then the object is populated with
values:
var company:Object = new Object();
company.name = "Macromedia, Inc.";
company.address = "600 Townsend Street";
company.city = "San Francisco";
company.state = "CA";
company.postal = "94103";
for (var i in company) {
