Check the cooler block from the front. Screw off the front
panelling of the MT first.
X Carry out a visual inspection of the cooler block from the
front.
Look for soiling by insects or foreign objects. The soiling
prevents an unhindered airflow through the cooler.
Only clean the cooler with water and a mild grease-
dissolving detergent. Never use a high-pressure
cleaner or compressed air for cleaning. This would
damage the cooler.
X Check the pipe fins for damage from stones.
X Check that the sealing strips between the fan housing and
cooler as well as between the cooler and cooler lining panel
do not leak.
Have defective coolers replaced by qualified
technicians.
