Pull the oil dip stick out.
X Wipe the oil dip stick with a clean, lint-free cloth.
X Reinsert the oil dip stick completely.

Pull the oil dip stick out again.
The oil level should lie in the “COLD CHECK” range
between the “COLD-ADD” and “COLD-FULL” markings.
X If necessary, refill oil into the oil filler nozzle or drain oil.
Conduct the hot check at the first opportunity once the
operating temperature has been reached.
The operating temperature is reached when the display
of engine coolant temperature has stabilised on the
combination display instrument.
