To Measure Continuity
• Measurements should only be performed on de-energized circuits.
• Measurements may be adversely affected by impedances or parallel circuits or transient currents.
Turn the rotary switch to the RLO position.
Use the L and N (red and black) terminals for this test.
Before making a continuity test, short the ends of the probes together and press the ZERO button. After
performing test leads compensation compensated test leads indicator is displayed.
Press and hold TEST until the reading settles.
If the continuity beeper is enabled,press the F1 to set high limit resistance value. the tester beeps continuously
for measured values less than high limit resistance and there is no stable reading beep for measured values
greater than high limit resistance.
