7.6 Working with Libraries
7.6.1 Overview
The Trikombin allows the installation of compatible libraries. These are optional additional
licenses that can be purchased from corresponding providers.
For more information on installing libraries, please see chapter 7.1.4 Installing Firmware
Updates, Licenses and Libraries.
A library can be searched by entering search terms. All entries that correspond to the search
term entered are then listed.
The frequency programs found can be used both in the Test Mode and in the Application
Mode.
Chains of Frequency Programs
To group frequency programs they can be organized in so-called "chains". Chains contain
several frequency programs that are used for the same application.
7.6.2 Searching Libraries
Entering a Search Term
1. In the Testing Mode, tap on the button "Libraries" (right side of the screen). The library
menu appears on the touchscreen.
2. Tap on the desired library. The touchscreen keypad appears.
◦ The button to the left of the space bar ("de" resp. "en") can be used to switch
between the German (contains umlauts) and English versions.
3. Start typing the search term. For simplicity you can enter everything in lower case
letters
◦ As soon as you have entered at least two letters, the first search term is displayed
in gray font, starting with the entered letters.
◦ You can either continue with the input or use the rotary encoder to scroll through
the search terms that begin with the entered letters.
4. When you have found the desired search term, close the dialog by pressing the "Ok"
button.
The touchscreen keypad also allows to display all search terms in the library, which contain
the entered text. In order to do this, tap the button “...” after you entered the search term. A
list with all matches appears. Use the rotary encoder to select the desired search term. Tap
on “Ok” to close the dialogue.
If you want to list all search terms of the library, then press the button “...” without entering
any text.
