Overview

The MASTERFLEX® Digital Peristaltic Pump Drive is a versatile device designed for precise fluid handling in various applications, offering flow rates from 0.00013 mL/min to 324 mL/min. It features a small footprint and stackable design, making it suitable for environments where space is a premium. The pump drive is equipped with a brushless DC motor, ensuring high reliability and improved performance. Its intuitive interface, featuring an easy-to-use keypad and a graphical LCD display, allows for straightforward navigation through menus and real-time readout of pump speed, flow rate, and user-selected units.

Function Description

The MASTERFLEX Digital Peristaltic Pump Drive offers two primary modes of operation: Continuous mode and Copy Dispense mode.

  • Continuous Mode: In this mode, the pump operates continuously at a set flow rate or RPM. Users can adjust the flow rate, flow direction (clockwise or counter-clockwise), and select flow units (mL/min, mL/hr, L/min, L/hr, GPM, GPH, RPM). The drive also supports remote control inputs for voltage (0-10V DC) or current (0-20mA) signals, allowing for external control of flow. Output signals for voltage (0-10V DC) or current (0-20mA) are also available, providing feedback on pump operation.

  • Copy Dispense Mode: This mode is designed for dispensing specific volume intervals. It allows for repetitive filling vials or other containers with a precise amount of fluid. Dispensing can be initiated via a button, foot switch, or an external signal. The drive tracks the number of dispenses completed and allows users to set a batch count for automatic stopping. The "Off Time" feature allows for a continuous dispensing pattern with a specified interval between each dispense.

The pump drive also includes several global options accessible through the SETTINGS Menu, such as:

  • Remote Control: Configures the drive to be controlled by external voltage or current signals.
  • Sounds: Activates or deactivates audible feedback for keypad presses, dispenses, and batch completions.
  • Keypad Lockout: Locks the keypad to prevent unauthorized changes to settings.
  • Display Contrast: Adjusts the contrast of the LCD display for optimal viewing.
  • Autostart: Configures the drive to automatically restart when power is applied.
  • Default Settings: Resets the drive to its factory default settings.
