7.11 CRANK AXLE SET REPLACEMENT
CHAPTER 7: PART REPLACEMENT GUIDE
1) Remove the front shrouds as outlined in Section 7.1.
2) Remove the drive belt as outlined in Section 7.8.
3) Remove the ECB belt as outlined in Section 7.9.
4) Remove the large nut holding the crank axle set to the frame (Figure A).
5) Use a hammer to push the crank axle set to the left side and out of the frame (Figure B). NOTE: A piece of wood or other material should
be used between the drive axle set and the hammer to prevent damage to the drive axle threads.
6)ReverseSteps1-5toinstallanewcrankaxleset.
7) Test the elliptical trainer for function as outlined in Section 7.21.
