Q.10 I do not have PC to access Web Jeeves for configuration. Can I change the internet connection type of
ATA211 to DHCP or PPPoE or Static?
Ans. Yes. You can change the connection type by issuing command 37-#* from the FXS port of ATA211 and
configuring necessary parameters for the new connection type.
Q.11 I do not have PC to access Web Jeeves for configuration. Can I know whether ATA211 is registered with
ITSP or not?
Ans. Yes. You can know the status of your SIP registration using LED provided on the enclosure of ATA211 or
by command to display registration status on the Phone connected to FXS port.
Q.12 I have connected my PC to LAN port of ATA211. But, I am not able to access the Web Jeeves for
configuration.
Ans. Please ensure that the IP address of LAN port of ATA211 and IP address of your computer should be in
same subnet to enable Web Jeeves from your computer. If both the IP address is in the same subnet,
check for any error in the Ethernet cable which connects your computer to LAN port of ATA211.
Q.13 Can I upgrade my ATA211 for new firmware?
Ans. Yes. You can upgrade the ATA211 for new firmware. To upgrade ATA211 for new firmware, please refer
“Software Upgrade”.
Q.14 Can I upgrade the ATA211 for new firmware remotely?
Ans. Yes. If you know the public IP address of WAN port of ATA211, you can use the FTP server of ATA211 to
upgrade the firmware. Please refer “Software Upgrade”.
Q.15 If I forgot the password, can I still use the Web Jeeves for configuration?
Ans. Yes. But you need to set the password value to factory default.
There are two important passwords for the configuration of ATA211 viz Admin Password and User
Password. Admin password protects the access to whole configuration while User password protects the
access to only few configuration of ATA211.
If you forgot the user password but you still have access to admin password, you can login to Web
Jeeves and change the user password. But, if you forgot the admin password, you need to default the
Password using access code '#***' from the Phone, connected to the ATA211.

Q.16 I am not able to access the Web Jeeves since I forgot the IP address of LAN port of ATA211. How can I
know the IP address of LAN port?
Ans. You can use the system commands to know the IP address of LAN/WAN port of ATA211. Please ensure
that you have the SLT (compatible for CLI type) connected to the FXS port.
Q.17 Can I make call to PSTN, GSM number using the FXO port of ATA211?
Ans. Yes. You can make call to any PSTN, GSM number using the FXO port of ATA211. You need to select the
FXO port by the command for 'Selective Trunk Access - FXO', #83 followed by the number to be dialed.
You can also do this by configuring the 'Outgoing Call Route' to 'FXO' in the Web page 'FXS Port', before
dialing the desired number or by setting 'Dialed Number Based Routing'.
Q.18 Incoming calls on FXO port of ATA211 does not place on FXS port. Why?
Ans. Please check the destination route configured in Webpage 'FXO Port'.
