Matrix SETU ATA211 V1 System Manual 75
• If the user has dialed the 'number of digits', more than 'maximum digits' (programmed for that number
string prefix in dialed number table), the excess digits will not be dialed out. (This may be use for
application like multi stage dialing).
If the user has dialed numbers not matching in the Table ('No match found'):
The destination route for the dialed numbers which do not match with the numbers programmed in the Table:
• The destination route is specified, which will be used by ATA for the numbers dialed, which are not
matching with the numbers programmed in the Dialed Number Table ('No Match Entry').
• If dialed number string does not match with entries in Dialed Number Table, and if the call was made from
FXS Port, the call routing option can be set from options: None/ SIP1/SIP2/SIP3/FXO. If 'None', is selected
caller will get error tone.
• Similarly, if dialed number string does not match with entries in Dialed Number Table, and if the call was
made from FXO Port, the call routing option can be set from options: None/FXS/SIP1/SIP2/SIP3. If 'None'
is selected, the call will be disconnected.
• The call can be routed to FXS port only if Routing Option selected is 'As per Dialed Number Table'.
• Refer chapter “FXO Port” for more details about programming of different Routing Options to Route the
Incoming Calls.
Following is the example for programming of the Dialed Number Table:
• Suppose dialed number table is programmed as shown below:
In this Table:
• The prefix '2' for the numbers to be dialed from Service provider-a (e.g. PSTN numbers) are
programmed in Index001, destination route is programmed as 'FXO' and Minimum digits to consider
the number as valid number is programmed as 7. Also the maximum number of digits is programmed
as 7. Hence all numbers, starting from '2' will be routed from FXO. For e.g. if you dial '2630555', it will
be routed from FXO port.
• The prefix '3' for the numbers to be dialed from Service provider-b, are programmed in Index002,
destination route is programmed as 'FXO' and Minimum digits to consider the number as valid number
is programmed as 7. Also the maximum number of digits is programmed as 7. Hence all numbers,
starting from '3' will be routed from 'FXO'. For e.g. if you dial '3065571', it will be routed from 'FXO' port.
• The prefix '98' for the numbers to be dialed from Service provider-c (e.g. Mobile numbers) are
programmed in Index003, destination route is programmed as 'SIP1' and Minimum digits to consider
the number as valid number is programmed as 10. Also the maximum number of digits is programmed
as 10. Hence all numbers, starting from '98' will be routed from SIP1. For e.g. if you dial '9898074306',
it will be routed from SIP Account1.
• The prefix '00' for the numbers to be dialed from Service provider-d (e.g. ISD numbers) are
programmed in Index004, destination route is programmed as 'SIP2' and Minimum digits to consider
the number as valid number is programmed as 12. Also the maximum number of digits is programmed
as 12. Hence all numbers, starting from '00' will be routed from SIP2. For e.g. if you dial ISD number, it
will be routed from SIP Account2.
• If dialed number string does not match with entries in Dialed Number Table, and if the call was made
from 'FXS' Port, the call will be routed to the programmed destination route 'FXO', which is
programmed in the Table.
