7.3.2 Daily checks

Position of machine during maintenance work
Engine oil level
To check the engine oil level, open the rear cover and pull the out the engine
dipstick. The oil level must be within the hatched area on the dipstick.
Warning !
Insufcientprotectionofeyesfromforeignbodies
• Can result in severe injuries.
• Always wear goggles to protect your eyes from foreign bo-
dies.
Hydraulic oil level
Open the rear cover to check the hydraulic oil level. The oil level must be
between the two marks on the oil level eye. The optimum hydraulic oil level
is marked by an arrow next to the gauge.
Attention !
Incorrect position of machine during maintenance work
• Can result in damage to property.
• Park the machine horizontally as shown in the diagram for
maintenance and checks. (Place machine in a horizontal
position, lower to ground, set supports straight, extend and
lower boom).
