6.6 Adjusting the controls
6.6.1 Adjust workplace
To use the possibilities provided by the machine and to make your work as comfortable as possible, it is important
to be acquainted with the adjustments for the seat and the controls. Instructions on the correct adjustment of your
workplace are contained in the explanations listed below.
Healthy posture during work is extremely important for fatigue-free operation. Additionally, correct posture can
have a positive effect on your health.

1. The neck should be stretched and more or less vertical. Avoid postures in which your body is tilted forwards
and the neck is bent back.
2. Elbows should not be far from the body and arms should be supported as much as possible. If the armrest is
too high then this can push up the shoulders, resulting in cramps.
3. Avoid extreme wrist and nger joint position when operating the joystick.
4. Angles of the hip and knees should be about the same and should be between 90-110°. A large knee angle
with a small hip angle has negative effects on the spine.
5. The thighs should be supported as much as possible.
