6.3.3 Speed adjustment
The DYGSY, together with the engine’s ECU, is responsible for adju-
sting the engine speed, and thus the control of the injection device,
ensuring economical and efcient operation. For heavy loads, the
ECU equalises the pressure of the diesel engine, making possible a
higher capacity.
While the engine is running, the engine speed can be set variably
between upper and lower idle speeds by turning the potentiometer
on the instrument panel clockwise or counter-clockwise. The speed
can be read on the display. The maximum permissible speeds are
limited electronically.
6.3.2 Emergency shut down switch
The Emergency shut down switch (4) shuts the machine down immedia-
tely in an emergency situation. The Emergency shut down switch must be
reset before the machine can be restarted. Do this by turning it clockwise.
6.3.4 Potentiometer speed
The engine speed can be set variably between upper and lower
speeds by turning the potentiometer. The maximum nal speed in-
creases by rotating the potentiometer clockwise.
Danger !
Start of machine after an emergency shutdown when the
danger has not yet been remedied
• Results in death or severe injuries.
• Make sure that nobody can be endangered by restarting the
machine.
Note !
Potentiometer speed
If the required speed for the travelling gear is not reached then
check to make sure the potentiometer of the travelling gear is not
set to the minimum speed.
