Maintenance and Care
8.5.2 Cleaning the radiator
Clean the radiator periodically to free it from dirt. Regular maintenance is es-
pecially essential when working in extremely dusty environments and damp
weather. Clean the radiator daily if required.
Open the rear cover to check the clean the radiator. Fold open the air-condi-
tioner cooler and leave it open. Clean the cooler with compressed air (max.
7 bar).
Attention !
Cleaning with high-pressure devices
• Can result in damage to property.
• When using high-pressure cleaning devices, make sure that
the radiator is not damaged by excessive water pressure.
Make sure that the cooling ns are not bent or damaged.
8.5.3 Servicingtheairlter
The interval for servicing the air lter unit depends on the dust concentration
in the air and on the speed of the engine. Ideally the lter cartridges are only
cleaned or replaced when the service switch is activated (no later than the
ordered hours). However, every time on starting up the engine it should be
briey brought up to its maximum speed, and then it should be observed
whether the lamp lights up, and thus the functioning of the monitoring sy-
stem is checked.
