13. Tighten ALL engine mount nuts securely. Bend washer tab down on each adjustment
nut.

14. Apply Loctite 271 to threads of bottom drive shaft shield retaining screws and install bot-
tom shields on engine and transom end as shown. Torque screws to 30 lb-ft (41 Nm).
Then install both top shields as shown. Torque bolts and nuts to 30 lb-ft (41 Nm).
