  Slow or inconsistent readings on your METER GROUP Measuring Instruments could be due to several factors. The sample chamber might be dirty and require cleaning. Also, a significant temperature difference between the sample and the block chamber can cause this issue; allow the sample to reach the instrument's temperature. Some products naturally absorb or desorb moisture slowly, extending measurement times. If the sample contains volatiles, this can also affect readings. Lastly, a broken or bent fan blade in the block chamber may be the cause. If salt standards take a long time to read and the sample chamber is clean, contact Customer Support for details on replacement.
