belt,thebeltwillapplyforceonyourabdomen,whichmay
causeseriousorfatalinjuries.Thediagonalsectionofthe
beltshouldcrossthemiddleoftheshoulderandthechest.
Intheeventofemergencybrakingorcollision,thediagonal
sectionofthebeltwillbelocked.NEVERcrossyourneck,
arms,orcrossunderyourarmsorbehindyourback.
T oensurethattheseatbeltsalwaysprovidemaximum
protection,ensurethebeltisat,notlooseandcontacts
thebody.Adjustseatbelttoensureitisnotloose.
UpperAnchorageHeightAdjustment
Duringdriving,DONOTadjusttheheightof
seatbelt.
Makesuretheseatbeltupperanchorpoint
hasbeenadjustedtoproperheightand
lockedinplace,orinjuryevendeathmaybe
causedintheeventofcollisionaccidents.
Thedriverandfrontpassengerseatsareequippedwithseat
beltupperanchorpointadjusters.Adjusttheheightso
thatthediagonalsectionoftheseatbeltcrossesjustthe
middleoftheshoulder.Theseatbeltshouldbepositioned
awayfromtheneckandheadandinamannerwherethe
occupantcannotslideunderthebelt.Incorrectpositioning
willreducetheefciencyoftheseatbeltintheeventofa
collisionoremergencybraking.
Pleasefollowtheinstructionsbelowtousetheseatbelt
upperanchorpointcorrectly.
