station.Eachtypeofchargermayhavedifferent
instructions.
Note:Thecableofthechargingplugshouldbeshorter
than30m.

RapidChargingSafetyPrecautions
Poweroffthevehicle,waitfor10secondsandthenopen
thecorrespondingchargingportcap.
Note:Consideringthesafetyandservicelifeofthe
highvoltagebattery,whenusingarapidcharging
stationtochargethevehiclethebatterywillnot
becomefullycharged,andthereforetheinstrument
packmaydisplaylessthan100%power.Ifyouhavea
longjourneyplanned,itisrecommendedthatyouuse
aslowchargingpointtochargethevehiclesoasnot
toaffectyourjourney.
Note:Ifatanytimeduringthechargingprocessyou
shouldwanttocheckthestateofcharge,pleaseswitch
thevehiclepowersystemtotheONposition.Thehigh
voltagebatterystateofchargewillbedisplayedinthe
messagecentreintheinstrumentpack.
SlowCharging
Note:Carryingoutafullslowchargeistheonlyway
forthehighvoltagebatterytoreachtheoptimal
equilibriumstate(equalisationcharge).
Highvoltagebatterychargersareavailablewithvarious
poweroutputs.Chargerswithoutputsofupto11kW
aregenerallyconsideredasslowchargers,largerthan11
kWareconsideredasrapidchargersandrapidchargersare
availableinACorDCoutputs.GenerallytheACchargers
areratedat43kWandtheDCchargersat50kWplus.
Chargingtimesaredependentonchargeroutput.
Note:Chargersofupto7kWpoweroutputare
suppliedviastandardhouseholdsinglephasepower.
Anychargersthatareratedabovethis,11kWfor
example,willrequirea3phasepowersupply.
