changingthelaneaccordingtothesurroundingtrafc
androadconditions.
AdaptiveCruisePause
Whentheadaptivecruisecontrolsystemisactivated,short
pressthePilotswitch(2)tocancelthefunctionandthe
systemwillexittotheStandbystate.
AutomaticDeactivationofAdaptiveCruise
Inthefollowingsituations,theACCmaybeautomatically
deactivated,whichrequiresthedrivertomanipulatethe
vehicleonhis/herown:
TheACCoptionwiththeintelligentdrivingonthe
entertainmentdisplay.
Depressthebrakepedalwhenthevehicleisnot
stationary.
MovetheshiftlevertoanygearotherthanDrivegear.
Thedriverseatbeltisunfastened.
Theacceleratorpedalispressedforalongtime.
Anydoorisopened.
TheEPBswitchhasbeenpulledup.
Afterfollowingthevehicleaheadtoastopandthe
vehiclehasbeenstationary.
Cameraobscuredorunclear(smudged,frosted),
cameraunabletofocus,cameraunabletocalibrate,and
camerafailureduetoweatherdamagetothecamera's
eldofviewsuchaslowsunaltitude,glare,roadway
waterspray,icywindscreen,rain,snow,fog,etc.,or
systemmalfunction.
Iffollowingthevehicleaheadtoastopwiththeadaptive
cruisecontrolsystemenabled,ifanyofthefollowing
conditionsoccurwhilstthevehicleisstationary,theEPB
willautomaticallybeapplied:
Thedriverunfastenshis/herseatbelt
Thedriverdoorisopen.
Thevehicleisstationaryforalongtime
