Beforealongdistancejourney,thetyre
pressuremustbechecked.
Checkthepressuresatleasteverymonth,whenthetyres
arecold.
Ifitisnecessarytocheckthetyreswhentheyarewarm,
youshouldexpectthepressurestohaveincreasedby4.4
~5.8psi(i.e.0.3~0.4bar).Inthiscircumstance,NEVER
letairoutofthetyresinordertomatchtherecommended
pressures(cold)inthetechnicaldata.
Valves
Keepthevalvecapsrmlysecuredtopreventdirtfrom
enteringthevalve.Checkthevalveforleaks(listenfora
tell-talehissing)whenyoucheckthetyrepressure.
PuncturedT yres
Y ourvehicleisttedwithtyreswhichmaynotleakif
penetratedbyasharpobject,providedtheobjectremains
inthetyre.Ifyouareawareofthisoccurring,reducespeed
immediatelyanddrivewithcautionuntilthesparewheel
canbetted,orrepairsundertaken.
