EBDautomaticallydistributesthebrakingforcebetween
thefrontandrearwheels,sothatthevehiclecanhavegood
brakingperformanceunderdifferentloadconditions.
TheEBAincreasesthebrakingforceappliedoneach
wheelduringemergencybrakingtoassistthedriverin
quicklytriggeringtheABS,therebyshorteningthebraking
distance.
Multi-CollisionBrakeSystem(MCB)
TheMCBfunctionwillautomaticallyapplythebrakesto
reducethevehiclespeedandimprovethevehiclestability
afteracollision.Itisdesignedtoreducetheriskofa
secondarycollisioncausedbytheuncontrolledmovement
ofthevehicleafteracollision.
TheMCBwillbeactivatedwhenthefollowingconditions
areallmetatthesametime:
•Avehiclecollisionwhereairbagsaredeployed;
•Thevehiclespeedislessthan37mph(60km/h);
•Thesteeringwheelhasnotbeenturnedinexcessof
180°;
•SCSisfaultfree.
Ifthedriverpressestheacceleratorpedalrmlyafterthe
MCBfunctionistriggered,thesystemwillexitthebraking
state.
Note:TheMCBfunctioncannotdeceleratethe
vehicleinallcasesofcollisionduetothefactthatthe
collisionprocessmaycausesomepartstomalfunction
orfailandaffectthenormaloperationofthefunction.
