Thelanedepartureassistsystemfunctionwill
belimitedordoesnotworkinthefollowing
conditions:
•Thedriverturnsonindicatorandispassingtheline;
•Thedriverturnsonthehazardwarninglight;
•Thedriverpressestheacceleratorpedalrapidly,makes
emergencysteeringorpressesthebrakepedalhard;
•Thesystemrecognisesthatthedriverhasnotmoved
thesteeringwheelforaperiodoftime(in'Alarmand
DepartureAssist'mode);
•Whenthesystemimplementsthesteeringintervention,
thedriverismanipulatingthesteeringwheel(in"Alarm
+DepartureAssist"mode);
•Thelanelineistoothin,damagedorfuzzy;thelanelines
arecomplex;
•Thekerbsareirregularordamaged;
•Thevehicleisdrivingonabendwithasmallcurvature
radiusorontoonarrowortoowideroad;
•Thevehiclehasjustenteredtheroadsectionwithlanes
orhaspassedtheroadsectionwithoutlanelines;
•Thevehiclehasmadearapidlanechangeorlateralsway;
•ThevehicleisnotinDrivegear;
•Roadsunderconstruction,lanediversionandmerging,
ramps;
•Thevehiclespeedislessthan34.2mph(55km/h),or
thespeedistoohigh;
•Theanti-lockbrakesystem(ABS)andthedynamic
stabilitycontrolsystem(SCS)areactivated;
•Theanti-lockbrakesystem(ABS),dynamicstability
controlsystem(SCS),electricpowersteeringsystem
(EPS),havefailed.
Itisrecommendedtoturnoffthelanekeepingassistsystem
inthefollowingsituations:
•Thecameraisobscuredorunclear(duetofrostor
beingsmudgedetc.);
•Thecameraisunabletofocus-Thecamerahasnotbeen
calibrated;
•Thecamera'seldofviewisaffectedbylowsunaltitude,
glare,snow,fogetc.);
•Thecamera'ssystemhasmalfunctioned;
•DrivinginSports;
•Drivinginbadweather;
•Drivingonpoorroads;
•Drivingthroughroadworks;
