certainconditionsaremet.Whenthesmartmainbeam
systemisenabled,thesmarthighbeamindicatoronthe
instrumentpackilluminates.Thesmarthighbeamfunction
canbeturnedonandoffintheSettingsinterfaceonthe
entertainmentdisplay.
Incaseofautomaticcontrol,thesystemwillautomatically
turnonthemainbeamwhenthesurroundingenvironment
isdarkandthereisnolightdetectedfromanyvehicles
ahead,oroncomingvehicles;whenthesurrounding
environmentisbrightenoughorthesystemdetectsthe
headlampsortaillampsofthevehicleaheadoroncoming
vehicles,thesystemwillautomaticallyturnoffthemain
beam.
T oenablethesmarthighbeamsystem,thefollowing
conditionsshouldbemet:
1Thelightleverswitchisplacedinposition'AUTO'and
thedippedbeamsswitchedonviaautomaticcontrol.
2Thevehicleisrunningwiththespeedexceeding40
km/h(25mph).
Ifthefollowingconditionsaremet,thevehiclewill
automaticallyexitthesmartmainbeamsystem.Ifthe
systemisdisabled,pushingthemainbeamONswitch
twicequicklytowardstheinstrumentpanelcanenable
thesmartmainbeamsystemagain.Thefunctioncanbe
disabledforthreetimesonlyinastartingcycle,otherwise
itcannotbeenabledagaininthecurrentstartingcycle:
•Whenthesmartmainbeamsystemisenabledand
thedippedbeamlightsareautomaticallyturnedon
andthelightingsystemismanuallyswitchedtothe
mainbeamlights.
•Whenthesmartmainbeamsystemisenabledand
themainbeamlightsareautomaticallyturnedonand
thelightingsystemismanuallyswitchedtothedipped
beamlights.
•Whenthesmartmainbeamsystemisenabled,the
mainbeamsareautomaticallyturnedonandthemain
beamashswitchisoperated.
