2 Equipment Installation
CONNECT THE POWER CORD
1. Connect a power cord to the power connector on the back of the instrument.
2. Connect the other end of the power cord to the wall power source.
Do not connect the equipment to the power source until the proper voltage selection
has been made. Doing so could result in electrical shock and/or damage the
assembly.
Use of a power cord or power supply not provided with the instrument could cause
personal injury or damage to the equipment. If a replacement is needed, contact your
Micromeritics Service Representative. Detachable power supply cords with an
inadequate rating could cause significant instrument damage or physical harm.
Do not add anything between the power cord and the power source that would
compromise the earth ground.
Do not remove or disable the grounding prong on the instrument power cord.
APPLY POWER TO THE ANALYZER
1. Power ON the analyzer.
2. Check the power indicator on the front panel of the analyzer. The indicator will blink green to
indicate that power is applied to the analyzer. Once the application is running, the indicator
will stop blinking and remain illuminated.
