Smoked Glass Background
This option lets you apply a smoked glass background that makes
your scan jobs stand out more clearly and allows you to focus on the
scan jobs. This feature can also be used for multiple scan jobs to
show their respective image modes, as well as their image-editing
settings.
Before After
The Smoked Glass Background helps you focus on the part of the
image within the current scan frame, and is particularly helpful
when you are editing a scan frame or applying image-correction
controls. This way, the changes can be seen more clearly and stand
out from the rest of the material.
Scan Quality
This option allows you to select the image quality by controlling the
scanner hardware and the maximum image processing depth.
● Speed: Higher scanning speed is obtained, but a lower-image
quality is the tradeoff.
● Quality: If “Quality” option is selected, the scanning carriage
slows down while CCD is exposed to light source. As a result, a
