Installation
If there is any damage, do not use the instrument but contact your local Miltenyi Biotec representative or
Miltenyi Biotec Technical Support. The operation of a damaged instrument may lead to the exposure of
mechanical hazards, optical radiation hazards, electric shock, or the spread of fire. Read the chapter Important
safety information before continuing with installation and assembly. Read through the following
instructions carefully before commencing the installation procedure.
Before opening the transportation box, check for any visible external damage to the box. Check also to see if the
shock and position indicators (if present) suggest incorrect transportation of the instrument.
