8 Insert the needle back into the slide in the z-axis. Do not bend the needle.
9 Snap the needle holder back into the needle arm.
10 As the needle has been removed from the needle arm, its position might have been changed. Check the
position and recalibrate if necessary. Mount the appropriate rack and go to Calibrate uptake unit to
calibrate (refer to chapter Calibration, page 61).
7.7 Exchange the sample tubing
Exchange the sample tubing every 6 month.

1 Switch off the instrument. Ensure that the needle is retracted completely (in the needle arm).
2 Open the front door.
3 Press the strap latch (orange arrow) to release the strap.
