5 Remove the tubing strap.
6 Disconnect the needle from needle arm (refer to Exchange the sample needle on page76). Take care
not to bend the needle.
7 Unscrew the knurled screw of the sample tubing. Make sure not to loosen the inlay or the stopper sleeves.
Remove the sample tubingand discard.
8 Prepare the new sample tube:Move the knurled screw up to reveal the inlay.
9 Insert the tube into the needle holder.
10 Insert the inlay first before tightening the knurled screw.
11 Insert the needle back into the slide. Make sure not to bend the needle.
12 Connect the sample tube to the peristaltic pump unit.
13 Place the left side of the new tubing into the strap. Make sure that the stopper (blue) fits into the stopper
sleeve.
14 Mount the left side of the strap, but keep it open at the right side.
15 Place the right side of the tubing into the strap. Make sure that the stopper (red) fits into the stopper sleeve.
