Calibration Calibration Procedures
5.5.4 Flow Valve Calibration
1. Preparing the unit
FIGURE 5-5 Connecting the breathing circuit
a. Reinstall the Inspiratory and Expiratory valve disks.
b. Connect a breathing circuit to the Breathing System (see FIGURE 5-5).
c. Connect a 3L bag to the Y-fitting.
NOTE: A 2.3L bag can be used in place of a 3L bag.
d. Select Continue.
2. Calibration
a. Press the O
2
Flush Valve to fully fill bellows.
b. Select Continue to start calibration.
c. Follow the on-screen instructions.
NOTE: The flow Valve calibration duration is approximately 5
minutes.
