1.9.3 Manual mode, inspiration
As the breathing bag is compressed, the gas is directed to the patient. Pressures exceeding
the set value of the APL Valve will pass through the APL Valve the AGSS.

As the patient exhales tidal volume into the expiratory limb, fresh gas enters the Breathing
System. Fresh gas mixes with exhaled gas after the Absorber removes CO

. Excess fresh gas
passes through the exhaust valve to the AGSS
