Disable Sleep Mode
This parameter is used to disable the Sleep function, which automatically turns off
the printer heater after no operation is performed for a specified length of time.
To disable the Sleep mode
1 Follow the procedure described in “To display the Administrator Management
screens” on page 6-2 to display the Administrator Management screen.
2 Touch [Admin. 1], and then touch [Admin. Set].
3 Touch [Disable Sleep Mode].
4 Touch [Yes] or [No], and then
touch [Enter].
❍ If [Yes] is selected, [No Reset]
appears in the screen for the
“Sleep Mode Setting” function,
which is available from the
User’s Choice screen.
5 On the User’s Choice [3/6] sleep mode setting screen, select [No].
6 Continue touching [Enter] to return to the Utility screen, and then touch [Exit] to
return to the Basics screen.
