appears when attempting to perform a walk test. If you are using a single node system, then
the panel supports a default walk test of all devices, if no areas are defined in the
configuration. The audible walk test is only supported by the default walk test on a single node
system.
The subsections following provide instructions on using each Walk Test option, Assisted and
One Man Audible, One Man Silent Walk Test.
5.7.1 Assisted Walk Test
Assisted Walk Test must be configured using the Configurator. The options shown at Step 4:
Select the Walk Test Configuration, are the walk test areas defined using the Configurator.
When the Assisted Walk Test is configured, the One Man Walk Test is replaced by the
Assisted Walk Test. The Assisted Walk Test shall be in silent mode only.
Note: Walk test records that are viewed on the screen are stored in the event log.
Step 1: Select the Walk Test Menu
1. Use and to scroll the cursor to
“Walktest”.
2. Press to select the Walk Test Menu.
Step 2: Enter your passcode (if required)
Enter your passcode. See page 16 for instructions on
entering passcodes.
Note: The Assisted Walk Test is the only option available on a network with 2 or more
nodes. If no walk test areas were defined in the Configurator, then an error occurs
when trying to start an Assisted Walk Test.
Step 1: Select the assisted walk test option
1. Use and to scroll the cursor through the
menu.
2. Press to select the “Assisted” option.
Press to exit and return to the Command Menu.
