3.3 Setting Parameters
This section describes the parameter setting, which is necessary when using the instrument.
Key operation Response display/output Description
1 Turn power on.
At default the counter displays bars (- - - - - -) and enters
the count ready mode when the power is turned on.
2 Press [ZERO] key.
Press the [ZERO] key to enter the count mode.

While holding down
[LIMIT], press [PRESET].
The first parameter 00 is displayed.
(The setting at the flashing digit can
be changed.)

While holding down the [LIMIT] key, press the [PRESET]
key to enter the parameter mode.

Press [PRESET].
To change parameters, press the [PRESET] key and
then set the flashing digit to 1.
5 Press [LIMIT] twice.
Press the [LIMIT] key to advance the parameter number.
Each time the [LIMIT] key is pressed, the parameter
number is changed.
6 Press [PRESET].
Press the [PRESET] key to change the setting value.
Each time the [PRESET] key is pressed, the setting is
toggled between 0 and 1.
7 Press [LIMIT].
Repeat steps 5 and 6 by the number of parameters
required to be changed.

While holding down
[LIMIT], press [PRESET].
To return to the count mode, press the [PRESET] key
while holding down the [LIMIT] key.
NOTE
When parameter 00 is set to 1, no parameter setting can be changed.
