3.1 Transporting and Installing the Main Unit
3.1.1 Transportation
The main unit has been rigorously adjusted at factory. Avoid applying mechanical shock
and vibration to the main unit when unloading, transporting, and installing it.
The VL-50A main unit is significantly heavy in weight (approx. 16kg). When transporting or
relocating the main unit, hold it safely and securely by hands as shown below and carefully
handle it not to apply any force to the moving members.


3.1.2 Installing VL-50A
Install the VL-50A main unit on the predetermined installation place such as a stable desk
or table. If the main unit rattles or is tilted at the installation site, insert liners (thin plates)
between the desk at the site and the main unit to keep it level.

