The HTP-1 supports extensive equalization features. In addition to traditional tone controls, up to 16
bands of parametric EQ are available. Each PEQ section is a second order filter. This diagram, from the
Wikipedia article on equalization, shows the type of responses you can achieve with PEQ sections.
The equalization page presents tone controls and parametric EQ. The HTP-1 includes a simple interface
to these features. Up to 16 bands of parametric EQ are supported with settings per channel. This fine-
grained control can be used to tune a room. Note the availability of high shelf and low shelf filters.
