Connectivity
The CONNECTIVITY tab of the Web GUI Home Page allows you to configure CEC connectivity to your TV
as well as network connectivity.
The wired Ethernet IP address of the HTP-1 is displayed in the lower left corner of the Front Panel LCD
Display. You can type this IP address into the address bar of a browser to access the Web GUI. The
system has been tested to work well with common browsers.
Setting up ARC/eARC and CEC
The HTP-1 supports “ARC” (Audio Return Channel) and the newer “eARC” (Enhanced Audio Return
Channel). The ARC/eARC channel is used to return audio from the TV to the amplifier. The main
difference between ARC and eARC is that eARC can support the transport of higher fidelity audio
formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. eARC can also support Dolby Digital Plus while
only some ARC implementations will support this format. The CEC communications protocol (Consumer
