FOLLOWINGOPERATION
•Whenyoustopoperationoftheplanter,evenif
periodically,stopthetractor,setthetractorortowing
vehiclebrakes,disengagethePTOandallpowerdrives,
shutofftheengineandremovetheignitionkey.

UNHOOKINGTHEPLANTER
Lowerthetoolbarstandstosupporttheplanter.Do
notstandbetweenthetractorandtheplanterwhen
connectingordisconnectingtheimplement.
Beforeunhookingtheplanterfromthetractor,fullyextend
thejackstandstothepointwherethetoolbarwillremain
level.Lockthestandssecurelyinplacewiththelocking
pins.
Lowertheplantertotheground.Setthetractorortowing
vehiclebrakes,disengagePTOandallpowerdrives,shut
offtheengineandremovetheignitionkey.
Unhookthetractorliftarmsfromhitchpocketsand
removecenterlink.Ifaquickattachisused,position
leverssothatthelockingmechanismisinthe“unlatched”
positionandlower.

Whentheliftarmsorquickattacharmsareclearofthe
tractor,slowlydrivethetractorawayfromtheplanter.
STORINGTHEPLANTER
Storetheplanteronadry,levelsurface.Anuneven
surfacecouldcausetheplantertoshiftorfall,resulting
ininjuryordeath.Storeplanterinanareaawayfrom
humanactivity.
Donotpermitchildrentoplayonoraroundthestored
planter.
Theplantershouldbestoredinadryanddust-free
locationwiththehydrauliccylindersclosed.
Engageallsafetydevicesforstorage.
Youmayneedwheelchockstopreventtheparkedplanter
fromrolling.
Neverworkundertheplanterwhileinraisedposition
withoutinstallingsafetylockuppin
