1.Drivethetractorandplanterontolevelsoil.
2.Lowertheplanterwhiledrivingforward.
IMPORTANT :Withtheplanterloweredintothe
plantingposition,thetractorhitchmustnot
carryanyoftheplanterweight.Therowunits
andtheframewheelssupporttheplanter
weight.Adjustthetractorhitchlinkssothat
theydonotsupportanyoftheplanterweight.
Leveltheframefront-to-rearwithcombined
adjustmentsofthetractorcenterlink(A)
andtheplantergaugewheels.

3.Verifythattheplantingunits(B)areparallelwiththe
ground.Adjustthecenterlinkandgaugewheelsas
needed.
Whileplanting,theparallelarms(C)shouldbe
paralleltogroundorangleslightlyupwardtowardthe
planterframe.Thebottomofthetoolbarshouldbe
approximately16"abovetheground.
4.Periodicallyverifythatthetoolbarandplantingunits
arelevelduringoperation.
