carewhenadjustingtheclodremovers.Thefunctionof
theclodremoversistoclearthesurfaceofthesoil,but
notplowafurrow.Itisrigidandmountedinfrontofthe
discopenersthatpushclodsawayinpreparationforthe
seedtrench.Thefrontbraceoftheclodremoverisan
independentadjustableopeningknifethatisusedtoslice
openhardsoilandmovestonesawayfromthetrackof
thediscopener.Theclodremovershouldbeadjusted
accordingtosoiltype.Inrockysoilclodremoversmay
createcloggingorblocking.Useaexiblesupportbracket
fortheclodremoverinrockyconditions.
SeedDepth
Adjusttheseeddepthbyturningthedepthcontrolhand
wheel.Turningtheknobchangestheheightofthefront
wheelsinrelationtothediscopeners.Astickerclose
tothehandwheel,indicatingagradualscale,ensures
theuniformityofthedepthcontrolonallrowunitsofthe
planter.Besurethatallrowunitsoftheplanteraresetat
thesameadjustment.
Thediscopenersandgroundadjustmentsystem
guaranteeanaccurateandregularseeddepthinalltypes
ofsoilandconditionsbecausethedepthwheelsare
positionedperpendiculartothefallingpointofseeds.
IntermediatePressWheel
Toadjustthedownpressureontheintermediatepress
wheel,eithertightenthebolttoincreasedownpressureor
loosenthebolttodecreasedownpressure.
RearWheels
Toadjustthedownpressureontherearwheel,turnthe
bolt.Downpressureontherearwheelregulatesthe
balancebetweenthefrontandrearwheels(thestabilityof
theplanterunit),theregularityandthedepth.
IntermediateHillers
Adjusttheheightandpressureoftheintermediatehillers.
Unhookthespringsifnecessary.Workswiththeshoeto
