1.Installthetimingindicator#804060onthemeterthat
isbeingtimed.
2.Turnthemainhexshaftuntilalltheslackisremoved
fromthedrivechainsandthecenterofadischoleis
alignedwiththeendofthesingulatoronthemeter
withoutthetimingsprocket.
3.Locatetherequiredoffsetangle,onthechartbelow,
baseoffthedischolenumberanddesireseedspacing.
4.Loosenthelockingsetscrewsonthetimingsprocket.
5.RotatethemeterdiscCCWtoremoveanyslackwhile
adjustthetimingsetscrewonthetimingsprocketuntil
thebackofadischolematchestheoffsetangleonthe
indicator(CWtodecreaseangle&CCWtoincrease
angle).
6.Tightenthelockingsetscrewsonthetimingmeterand
replacethetimingindicatorwiththeoriginalsingulator.
