5.Disconnectallhydraulichoses.
6.Disconnectwarninglightharnessfrom7-pinconnector.
7.Disconnectmonitorwiringharness.
8.Attachdustcoverstoharnessconnectors.
9.Disconnectmachinefromtractor.

IMPORTANT :Donotputtheselectivecontrolvalve
(SCV)leverintheoatpositionwhenraising
andloweringthemachine.Correctprocedure
forraisingandloweringthemachineisto
powerupordowncompletely.
1.Topreventpluggingoftheseedtubesortheseed
openers,Donotbackupwiththemachinelowered.
Forpropermachineoperation,itisimportantthatthe
machineframeisloweredfullyintothecorrectplanting
position.Achievingthispositioncanbedifcultwith
someattachmentcombinations,especiallywhen
plantinginhardtopenetratesoilconditions.Ifthis
situationisencountered,thefollowingactionis
warranted:
Reducetheattachmentdownforcelevels.Avoidusing
moreattachmentdownforcethanrequired.
Userecommendedsizetractor.(SeeTractor
Requirements.)
2.Verifythatthetractorandtheplanterhavebeen
properlyprepared.
3.Checktheseedratescarefully.
4.Checkthetirepressurebeforeseeding.
5.Allowthetractorhydraulicoiltowarmupthoroughly
beforeseeding.
6.Usecleanseedforthebestresults.
7.Usedetailedinformationaboutyourplanter
attachmentsforthefunctionandoperation.
HydraulicMotorOperation
Connecthosescorrectly.
Toengagehydraulicmotors,movetheselectivecontrol
valve(SCV)leverforward(retractfunction)andengage
thedetent.
Avoidmotordamagefrompressurespikesinthehydraulic
system.MovetheSCVleverforwardinto"Float"position,
notinto“Neutral”position,toshutoffhydraulicmotors.
Oncethehydraulicmotorscometoastop,theSCVlever
canbereturnedto“Neutral”position.
