tractor.AnarrowonthePTOindicatestheendthatis
attachedtothetractor.
ThefollowingwarningisplacedonyourPTOshaftfor
yoursafety.
DANGERRotatingdrivelinecontactcancausedeath–
keepaway.Donotoperatewithoutalldrive-line,tractor
andequipmentshieldsinplace,withoutdrive-lines
securelyattachedatbothends,andwithoutdrive-line
shieldsthatturnfreelyondrive-line.
HydraulicDrive
HydraulicDriveisstandardonallturbofans.
Thedesiredvacuumisdependentonthecorrectamount
ofoilowtothehydraulicmotor.
Starvingthemotorofoilwillcausethevacuumtodrop.
Anexcessiveamountofoilowingintothemotorcan
resultindamagetothemotorortheturbofan.
Whenattemptingtoshutofftheturbofan,theblademust
beallowedto"spindown".Iftheowofoilstopsabruptly,
thecheckvalveintheblockonthemotorwillre-circulate
theoilalreadyinthemotorhelpingtopreventdamage
tothefanandmotor.Still,youshouldnotallowtheow
ofoiltostopsuddenly.Youshouldmovetheremote
runningthefantotheoatpositionwhenshuttingdown
thehydraulicfan.Refertoyourtractor’soperatorsmanual
forfurtherinformation.
Youcancontroloilowtothemotorinoneofthree
ways:
1.Withthetractorhydraulicsystemcontrols.Thisisthe
mostcommonandrecommendedmethod.

2.Withabypassowcontrolvalve(partnumber300954)
thatisoptionalforthehydraulicmotor.Forall
open-centertractorhydraulicsystems.Canbeused
withclosed-centersystemsalso.
