Using PC Configuration Software Offline
When using the STA PC Conguration without a unit connected or properly communicating with
software (o󰀪ine) it is important to know that the following items will be greyed out and disabled
from making changes.
Input Tab:
Input Trimming: Set and Trim buttons are disabled.
Analog Output Tab:
Trimming: The Zero, Full, Trim, Unx and the Reset to factory “Reset” buttons are disabled.
Output Test: Fix and Unx buttons are disabled
The left panel section (Sync Status, Program Status, etc.) can be disregarded, these sections
are only updated if a unit is connected. The “Reset Input Fault” is also disabled.
Note: The conguration software will enter oine mode if there is no unit connected upon
startup, it will also enter oine mode if there is a failed upload or download.
Note: While in oine mode the user can save Input Trimming mode and set points to a le. To
use these settings simply open le while unit is connected and download saved conguration le
to unit.
Note: Unless otherwise noted, ensure that the PC Program is idle before making any selections
or configuration changes to the parameters and windows of the program. Also, when attempting
to download, or upload, monitoring must be stopped. To do this, click “Stop” in the Monitoring
dropdown menu, or click the “Stop Monitoring” icon.
