ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
4� Open the clean out door and remove any material that is accessible.
5� If you have material that is unreachable through the clean out door, the chute should be lowered to gain access to the clogged area.
NOTE: Two (2) People shall be involved when attempting to lower the discharge chute. The chute must be securely supported while removing
support bolts. Never stand directly under the chute as it can fall, causing serious injury or death.
6� Once the chute is lowered any remaining clogged material may then be removed from the discharge area and chipper housing.
NOTE: Never attempt to remove material by starting the machine and engaging the chipper to blow material out. This is a very dangerous and
unsafe practice.
7� Reinstall components and attempt chipping again using small material to determine if chipper discharges properly.
