SAFETY OPERATION
PTO HOOKUP
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE
AREA BEHIND YOUR TRACTOR IS
CLEAR BEFORE BACKING UP TO
CHIPPER.
Align tractor 3-way hitch arms to the
mounting brackets on the chipper. Pin
and secure chipper to tractor hitch
arms.
Slide the PTO driveshaft onto the
splined shaft of your tractor.
DANGER/ENTANGLEMENT HAZ-
ARD: NEVER ATTACH OR RE-
MOVE THE DRIVESHAFT WITH
THE PTO DRIVE ENGAGED. WAIT
UNTIL PTO DRIVE COMES TO A
COMPLETE STOP BEFORE EN-
TERING DRIVE AREA.
Hook up the adjustable upper link
arm (not supplied) and adjust so the
chipper infeed is horizontal to the
ground.
CAUTION: ONLY OPERATE CHIP-
PER ON A LEVEL SURFACE IN AN
AREA THAT IS FREE OF OBSTA-
CLES.
