Machine not operating
straight.
Lack of penetration.
Openers wearing unevenly
Wing lifting too slowly.
Wings not lowering.
One wing will lift, other will
not.
Oil accumulation.
Openers drop quickly after
transport lock valve is closed.
Uneven opener depth.
Openers worn.
System pressure too low.
Tire tracks.
Front row always wears more
than the others.
Tractor hydraulic pressure.
Hydraulic breakaways.
Hose restriction.
Transport valve in locked position.
Assembly.
Restriction in line.
Internal cylinder leak.
Damaged seal.
Loose fittings.
Scored cylinder shaft will damage
shaft seal.
Normal.
Hydraulic line, fitting or cylinder
leak.
Refer to Operation Section on depth adjustment.
Check tire pressure.
Replacement necessary.
Refer to Operation Section on setting maximum
system pressure.
Replace worn openers.
Repair pump. Pressure relief valve needs resetting.
Foreign material or sticking.
Check compatibility.
Cylinder linkage binding.
Place opener valve into unlocked position.
Hoses reversed at cylinder.
Clean.
Repair cylinder.
Replace seals.
Tighten hose and pipe connections.
Replace.
Slight seepage from seal is normal.
Locate leaking line, fitting or cylinder and repair
or replace.
