TAP Display
Press a key and the display will
show the following information:
• The icon indicating the
current text writing method
— see icons.
• The main text entry area that
will hold your message after
you selected the desired words.
iTAP Display
Press a key and the display will show the following
information:
• The icon indicating the current text writing method — see
icons.
• The main text entry area
that will hold your message
after you selected the
desired words.
• A row of suggested
characters/words will be
displayed.
Keys Usage
List of Keys and Characters in Alphanumeric Mode
(TAP/iTAP)
• Except for keys 0 and 1, the top line for each key shows
numbers and upper case characters, and the lower line
shows numbers and lower case characters.
• Press and hold any numeric key to enter Numeric mode.
• To exit Numeric mode in iTAP, select the word.
Characters available for a key are examples and differ for each
language setting (see “Setting the Display’s Working
Language” on page 115).
