Important Information
An Emergency Group Call is configured as non-tactical or
tactical:
• A non-tactical call initiates on a talkgroup designated by
your Service Provider. The group might be different than
the one displayed on the terminal screen when starting the
call.
• The required time you need to press the Emergency button
is set by default to 0.5 seconds. The time can be configured
by your Service Provider.
• Pressing the Emergency button can be used to activate one
or more services:
- Emergency Mode
- Sending Emergency Alarm
- Starting Hot Mic operation
- Starting emergency individual call
- Powering up the terminal
• Pressing the Emergency button even if Transmit Inhibit is
activated causes immediately the MTM800 Enhanced to
transmit. When entering Emergency Operation the MTM800
Enhanced should not be within the RF sensitive area any
longer!
• The MTM800 Enhanced interrupts the AL call when you
press the Emergency button.
• For call alerts, see settings in the Tones menu option
(page 117)
