Beep After Good Decode
Parameter # 38h
Select a bar code below to choose whether or not the digital imager scanner beeps after a good decode (or image
capture in Snapshot mode). If you select Do Not Beep After Good Decode, the beeper still operates during
parameter menu scanning and to indicate error conditions.
Decoding Illumination
Parameter # F0h, 2Ah
Selecting Enable Decoding Illumination causes the digital imager scanner to flash illumination to aid decoding.
Select Disable Decoding Illumination to prevent the digital imager scanner from using decoding illumination.
Enabling illumination usually results in superior images. The effectiveness of the illumination decreases as the
distance to the target increases.
