Image Capture Autoexposure
Parameter # F0h, 68h
Select Enable Image Capture Autoexposure to allow the digital imager scanner to control gain settings and
exposure (integration) time to best capture an image for the selected operation mode.
Select Disable Image Capture Autoexposure to manually adjust the gain and exposure time (see the following
pages). This option is only recommended for advanced users with difficult image capture situations.
Image Capture Illumination
Parameter # F0h, 69h
Selecting Enable Image Capture Illumination causes the digital imager scanner to flash on every image capture.
Select Disable Image Capture Illumination to prevent the digital imager scanner from using artificial illumination.
Enabling illumination usually results in superior images. The effectiveness of the illumination decreases as the
distance to the target increases.
