4 Turn radio on.
The LED Indicator will blink double red.
5 Lower radio volume before placing accessory near
ear.
6 To transmit, speak into accessory microphone and to
receive, stop talking.
VOX can be temporarily disabled by pressing the
PTT button or by removing the audio accessory.

3.9.2
Setting up iVOX
The following steps explain how to setup iVOX:
1 Turn the radio off.
2 Press and hold the PTT button while turning on the
radio to enable iVOX.
The display shows VOX.
NOTICE:
Short press the PTT button temporarily disables
iVOX. The display shows VOX blinking.
Short press the PTT button again to re-enable
iVOX.
There is a short delay between the time you start
talking and when your radio transmits.
3.9.3
Adjusting iVOX Sensitivity
The sensitivity of the radio's accessory or microphone can
be adjusted to suit different operating environments. iVOX
sensitivity can be programmed with Customer
Programming Software (CPS) or the button.
Default value is MEDIUM. iVOX can be set to any value as
listed below:
